The Scottish Version of the Hnefatafl game Ard Ri which means High King in Gaelic. It's a 7x7 Board with 16 attackers and 8 defenders with their king. There is not much documentation on this game; so it tends to be a very hard game to play.
The attackers are made with Brazilian cherry wood and the defenders are made with maple wood - and are dyed with homemade dye. The leather board grid is burnt with the Celtic wheel and triskelions. Comes with a little booklet of the directions on how to play.
